Coby is an Ecstatic Awakening Dance teacher in The Netherlands. She belongs to the team of Dansklooster. Coby teaches in different areas, but mainly in the Amsterdam area. She holds classes of 2 hours, dance retreats and week-long events. In those week-long events, she and her team offer a different kind of dances; EAD is one of them. Every retreat they find the right balance in the dances.
For Coby dance is just coming home in your body. Coby is a massage therapist trained at Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork. She is a mother of 2 and a teacher during the day.
She became a teacher at age 15 teaching speed skating. Since then, she has taught in different disciplines and age groups. Alongside her Massage practice and Dance life, Coby is a teacher in primary school teaching ethics, philosophy and citizenship.
